Bridal Shower Games For Any Theme

Bridal showers can be great fun. However, if you have a bunch of women who all know the bride but don?t know each other, things can get tricky. Bridal shower games are a great way to break the ice and really get the party going.

If you are having a theme bridal shower finding games to fit the theme can be pretty tricky. However, here are some classic bridal shower games that can be adapted to any theme.

Bridal Shower Game #1: Taboo & Tokens
Select a word that is considered ?Taboo? for the duration of the bridal shower. ?Bride?, ?Marriage?, ?Love? are all possible taboo words. As soon as a guest enters the venue for the bridal shower, tell her what the taboo word is and give her a ?token?. If a guest hears another guest using the taboo word, she can demand the token from her. The guest with the maximum number of tokens at the end of the bridal shower wins the game.

To relate to the theme: You can use a ?token? that is related to your theme. So if you are having a Hawaiian bridal shower theme, get leis to use as tokens. For a garden theme bridal shower you can use flowers as tokens and so on.

Bridal Shower Game #2: Memory Game
Place 15-20 small items on a tray and cover them with a lace napkin. Place the tray in the center of all your guests. Uncover it and let the guests look at it for two minutes. Cover the tray and ask all your guests to write down as many items as they can remember. The guest, who remembers the maximum number of items, wins.

To relate to theme: Select items that relate to your bridal shower theme to place in the tray. So if you are having a beach theme bridal shower, you can put a pair of slip-ons, bikini bottoms, a beach ball, shells, oysters, flip flops and other beach related items in the tray.

Bridal Shower Game #3: Bridal Shower Bingo
Make a set of bingo cards with 25 empty spaces. Fill in the spaces with words instead of numbers. Write the words on chits of paper and put them in a bowl. The bride removes the chits from the bowl and calls out the words. Guests can tick off the words on their bingo cards. The guest who ticks off all the words first, wins.

To relate to theme: Choose words that are related to your theme to put on the bingo cards.

You can adapt pretty much any game to your theme with a little bit of creative thinking so that your bridal shower is a hit!
