Guess How Many

Get a large bag of candy and a big see-through jar or container. You can use a jar filled with jelly beans, Hershey kisses, gumballs, or even funny shaped sweet tarts. Fill the container with as much candy as you possibly can. Make sure you count the number of pieces of candy as you put them in.

As guests arrive ask them to look at the container and write on a slip of paper their name and how many items they think are inside. The guest who comes closest to the actually number wins!

If you place a mix of candy in the jar, not only does it give a nice assortment as a prize, it can also make it much more difficult to guess how many are actually inside the jar. Try mixing miniature candy bars with M&M or red hots and it will really be a challenge!

Bridal Shower “Kitchen Raffle”

Inform guests on your invitations that there will be a raffle at the shower and each ticket will cost them a small kitchen supply item (You can change this to fit any theme – honeymoon items, beauty products, etc…). Guests can then buy as many raffle tickets as they want with products like bottle of spices, measuring cups, spoons and kitchen towels.

Lucky Penny

This game is the perfect door prize game, and usually a nice surprise for the winner. Take a penny and tape it under one of the chairs your guests will be using. Don’t let on about the penny until after all the guests have arrived and are seated. Then ask your guests to look under their seats. The guest who finds the lucky penny taped to their chair wins a prize!

For a more personal touch you could use a small photo of the bride, or of the couple, to tape under the chair. For a themed event, use an item to match the theme such as a flower for a garden party or shell for a beach themed shower.
